This is the place to get your questions answered about the growing community of people, right here in Charlottesville, embracing this compassionate, sustainable way of living.

CVEg Day

Join us for a full day meant to educate and inspire attendees to look take back control in order to be healthier selves, have a healthier planet and be more compassionate in the world. We'll have inspiring talks, delicious plant-based foods, sampling, raffles, prizes, books and lots of community connections April 18th, 11a-4pm.

Things You Need To Know

Who is invited?

EVERYONE and anyone can attend, especially if you're interested in finding out more about plant centered thriving & making plant strong nutritional choices for a healthier you and a healthier planet!

Is the event free?

Yes, the event is free for all to attend. Donations gleefully accepted to keep it free for future events.

What activities are included?

We are excited to bring to your health journey several speakers, cooking demos, teaching tables, along with an opportunity for a Q&A sessions with experts/speakers. Bring your pen/paper to take notes!!

Will there be food available?

Yes, your choice of two frugal, delicious plant based lunches will be available between 12pm-2pm (while supplies last). Contact us & let us know you're coming, so we can plan food volume.

NOTE: We are unable to process credit cards or any electronic payments at this event, please bring cash for your lunch, raffle, and/or seriously discounted book purchases to raise funds for next year :)

How can I volunteer or participate?

Please contact us via the website to sign up as a volunteer and, we certainly wish to thank you in advance :)

Where can I park?

There are many option for parking (see image below):

  • The side street Fendall (intersecting Rugby Road) has a designated parking lot, on the right, after your turn (purple below).

  • Fendall Ave has 2 hour street parking. Please be advised, there is NO street parking on Edgewood Lane.

  • Handicapped accessible parking is directly in front of the Fendall entrance to the church (yellow below).
